The Update Seminar 2006 will be held on 5 August at the University of Wollongong Function Centre. 

 

It will commence with lunch from 12 noon - 1 pm followed by 6 speakers updating on the latest developments in their field of expertise.

 

Speakers and topics include:

  • An Honorable Death - the role of the GP, the certificates and the law with Chris McRobert, Coroner, Wollongong Court

  • Myeloproliferative Disorders with Dr Pauline Warburton, Haematologist at Wollongong Hospital

  • Restricted Medicine and the PBS with Toni Sanders, Medicare Australia

  • Emerging and Re-Emerging Disease with Dr Bill Pratt, Staff Specialist, Infectious Disease, Shoalhaven Hospital

 

A registration fee of $20.00 applies to this seminar which includes the presentations, resource manual, gourmet lunch and afternoon tea.
