Pandemic Planning

General practice is at the frontline in the delivery of primary health care in Australia, integrating with other sectors of the health system to ensure the health and safety of our community.

An influenza pandemic will present a unique challenge to the delivery of health care services across all sectors, and NSW Health is currently developing resources to assist general practices in preparing for such an event. The NSW Health Pandemic Preparedness Centre provides an indepth resource kit for preparing for a pandemic.
