Job Purpose

To help build the capacity of general practice through support and resource development, particularly in relation to new incentives, Enhanced Primary Care and the Practice Incentive Program, practice management systems, accreditation and other aspects of operation in general practice.

To provide support to general practice in the provision of immunisation services through assistance with increasing childhood immunisation rates within practices, support in accessing incentives and reporting requirements, and support in maintaining best practice vaccine storage management.

To oversee the progress of the GP Panels Program in the Illawarra

To support GP's and Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF)

To encourage the use of electronic information transfer between GP's and RACF's
The most important aspect of my work:
- Supporting general practice as a whole to help build their capacity to provide effective and quality services and to help build links between general practice, consumers and services within the community.
Days worked:
Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm
